NIGHT TRAVELER's "Blue Eyes" and "Late Night Radio" bode well for a next album
Hope to see them live on 2023 album release tour
I’ve been a die-hard fan of NIGHT TRAVELER (Adam Fischer & Hunter Glaske from Austin) since a close friend shared their music with me. Dreams You Don’t Forget, a substantial 13-track set released last year with no record label, is one of my all-time favorite albums.
In addition to the titular track on this near-perfect album, standouts are “Carolina” and “Ocean Cabin”. “Put Your Money on Me”, “Bad Enough”, and “Burn” are also great. Clearly I’m exceedingly biased because NIGHT TRAVELER is heavily influenced by the War On Drugs, down to the Adam in the band. I’m hoping they don’t go the same way as AG & KV, because they have so much musical development and growth ahead and a really cohesive sound together.
NIGHT TRAVELER recently put out some new music. Both tracks sound great and I haven’t heard explicitly about a new album but at this rate it’s looking good for a 2023 album drop and US national tour. Here’s “Late Night Radio”, released in April:
And here’s “Blue Eyes”, released last week:
Definite War on Drugs influence here; I really liked this!
